[Christmas Warmth] x POLIO HOME, Love Multiplied Shelter Workshop

During the Christmas charity event, we visited the Joy Love and Double Blessing Sheltered Workshop located in Fangyuan, which provides a workplace primarily for people with physical and mental disabilities. The workshop enables these individuals to earn a living and have a normal social life, despite their physical limitations. Upon entering the workshop, we were greeted with enthusiastic and energetic welcomes from the workers, which truly conveyed how much they enjoy working in this environment. The workshop provides several work areas, including printing, graphic design, handicrafts, and packaging, among others. In addition to providing a safe space for people with disabilities, the workshop also creates opportunities for these individuals to learn how to be self-sufficient. Each worker was diligent and proud to explain their work tasks, which inspired all of the Kunlin colleagues in attendance. As our CEO put it, "We have all learned an important life lesson." In addition to donating goods, Kuenlin also partnered with the sheltered workshop to produce a co-branded coffee. This not only allowed us to do charitable work, but also gave our customers and friends the opportunity to taste delicious locally-produced coffee.
